You represent that your submission is original, does not infringe any third-party rights, and that you have the authority to grant this license.
• Obituaries — Obituary notices are published according to the selected paid tier and are subject to editorial review for formatting and compliance with our publishing standards. Payment is processed through Stripe. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of publication.
• News Tips — Tips submitted through our source credit system or other channels may be used to develop stories. We do not guarantee publication of any submitted tip. Insider-tier subscribers receive monthly tip credits as described in their subscription terms.
• Comments — User comments are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any comment that violates these Terms or our community standards without notice.
• Corrections — Correction submissions may be used to update published articles. We verify all corrections before making changes and maintain a public log of all corrections issued.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on TC Sentinel, including but not limited to articles, headlines, photographs, graphics, logos, page design, and software, is the property of TC Sentinel or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

Permitted uses:

• You may share links to articles on social media and other platforms.
• Fair use excerpts (no more than 200 words) are permitted with proper attribution and a hyperlink back to the original article on https://www.tcsentinel.com.
• Educators may use content for non-commercial classroom purposes with attribution.

Prohibited uses:

• Republishing full articles without prior written permission.
• Using content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without our express written consent.

7. Subscription Terms

Free Newsletter

Our free newsletter is available to anyone who provides a valid email address and completes our double opt-in confirmation process. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.

Premium and Insider Subscriptions

• Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected.
• Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
• If payment fails, you will enter a grace period during which you retain access. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, your subscription will be downgraded to the free tier.
• Insider-tier subscribers receive monthly source credits that reset at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once the gift code has been redeemed. Unredeemed gift codes expire according to the terms stated at the time of purchase.

Metered Access

Non-subscribers may view a limited number of articles per month. This limit is enforced through anonymous tracking and may change at our discretion.

8. Content Usage Rights

TC Sentinel articles are derived from publicly available information. Our editorial process adds original analysis, synthesis, and presentation. The resulting articles are original works of authorship. However:

• Facts and information contained in our articles that are derived from public records remain in the public domain.

Repeat Infringers

TC Sentinel will terminate access for users who are repeat copyright infringers in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

10. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, affiliate links (including Amazon Associates), and embedded content from external services. TC Sentinel is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party sites. Clicking on affiliate links may result in TC Sentinel earning a commission at no additional cost to you. 11. Disclaimer of Warranties

TC Sentinel does not warrant that: (a) the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) the content will be accurate, complete, or reliable; (c) any errors in the Site or content will be corrected; or (d) the Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability
